Ali Yanya

Ali Yanya studied Fine Art at Marmara University in Istanbul in (1980-84) and Printmaking at the Royal college of Art in (1988-90). His work is in the print collections of the British Museum.
Ali Yanya’s work is a continuous exploration of man and his relationship with his surroundings and history. By employing and experimenting with traditional printmaking techniques; particularly drypoint, mezzotint, etching and aquatint, he aims to achieve total unification between form and content. Mood and atmosphere are characteristics of his work.
