Emiko Aida

Emiko Aida is a painter and printmaker, and a member of Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. She was born in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from MA, Fine Art, she moved to London to study Printmaking at Royal College of Art. Since then she has stayed in London and now feels London her home town. Throughout her experience of living in urban cities, her work often shows her curiosity towards humanity and searching for its transcendental quality. Her work is in many private, public and corporate collections including the New York Public Library, USA, Guangdong Museum of Art, China and Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, UK. Her works are featured in a book, “Printmakers Today” published by Schiffer Publishing (USA).
