About Louise Davies

Louise Davies is a printmaker and painter who lives and works in South London. She is a founder member of Southbank Printmakers and a member of Greenwich and Halfmoon Printmakers. Her work is permanently on display in several galleries. Her evocative prints of urban rural scenes combine a sensitive approach to colour with a gestural, looser application of paint. Etched line and texture are introduced to roughly define architectural and natural forms.
