About Hebe Vernon-Morris
Within my work I draw the buildings as symbols of the people that may choose to build and live within them. The houses have a soul, the detail, the clustering of the buildings and the colours all relate to each other
as humans do … intimately, joyfully, comfortably, awkwardly, occasionally indifferently. Humans create spaces for themselves, or for the greater good or in praise of a higher source. Within these spaces, hopefully, we are free to sleep, eat, dream, play, think and be ourselves.
