About Emiko Aida

Emiko Aida is a printmaker and painter living in London. She came from Jindaiji, Tokyo, Japan, a town with a Japanese temple to the water God. Unusually, she finds England a dry place to live and her work shows her search for a more humid atmosphere. After graduating from The Royal College of Art in 1989 she has continued to develop her inner strength, and strongly believes that Art is the rock of her mental stability. She hopes that her works help other people in that way too.
